1Introduction

SoylaNet ("Platform", "we", "us", or "our") operates on infrastructure hosted across multiple jurisdictions, including the United States, Germany, and Finland. This Copyright Policy explains how we handle intellectual property rights and the process for submitting copyright infringement notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) and applicable international copyright law.

We respect the intellectual property rights of creators and third parties, and we expect our users and content contributors to do the same.

2Nature of Content on This Platform

SoylaNet is a sticker discovery and distribution platform. The sticker packs available on our platform are provided by third-party sources and contributors, including content made publicly available online and through messaging platforms such as WhatsApp and Telegram.

We do not claim ownership of any third-party sticker content. We acknowledge that some content may be subject to copyright protection held by its original creators. We are committed to working with rights holders to address legitimate concerns promptly.

3DMCA Safe Harbor

SoylaNet operates in compliance with the safe harbor provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512(c). As a platform hosting content provided by third-party sources and contributors, we qualify as a service provider under the DMCA and are entitled to safe harbor protection, provided that we do not actively monitor or pre-screen all content available on the platform, and that:

  • We do not have actual knowledge that the material is infringing;
  • We act expeditiously to remove or disable access to infringing material upon receiving a valid takedown notice;
  • We do not receive a financial benefit directly attributable to the infringing activity where we have the right and ability to control it.

4How to Submit a Copyright Infringement Notice

If you believe that content available on SoylaNet infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notice to our designated copyright agent. To be valid under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include all of the following:

  1. Your full legal name and contact information (address, telephone, email address);
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
  3. The specific URL(s) of the material on our platform that you claim is infringing;
  4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  5. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf;
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Incomplete notices will not be processed. Knowingly submitting false information in a DMCA notice may result in liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

5Designated Copyright Agent

All DMCA notices must be sent to our designated agent:

Email:copyright@lekker.lat
Subject:DMCA Takedown Notice — [Your Name]

We strongly recommend submitting notices via email for fastest processing.

6Our Response Process

Upon receipt of a valid, complete DMCA takedown notice, we will:

  • Acknowledge receipt within 5 business days;
  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content, typically within 72 hours of verification;
  • Notify the source of the removal where applicable;
  • Document the removal in our internal compliance records.

7Counter-Notification

If content you have rights to has been removed due to a DMCA notice, you may submit a counter-notification. To be valid, your counter-notification must include:

  1. Your full name, address, telephone number, and email address;
  2. Identification of the removed material and its location before removal;
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification;
  4. A statement consenting to jurisdiction of the appropriate Federal District Court;
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

Send counter-notifications to copyright@lekker.lat with subject "DMCA Counter-Notification — [Your Name]". Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we may restore the content within 10–14 business days unless the original complainant files a court action.

8Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA, SoylaNet maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, access or contributions from repeat infringers.

9Attribution & Voluntary Removal Requests

We recognize that not all content disputes require formal DMCA procedures. If you are the original creator of any sticker content displayed on our platform and wish to request credit, modification, or voluntary removal, you may contact us directly at copyright@lekker.lat with subject "Content Attribution / Voluntary Removal Request". We will respond within 72 hours.

10Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Copyright Policy is governed by the laws of the United States, as applicable to our DMCA compliance obligations under U.S. federal copyright law (17 U.S.C. § 512). For content hosted or processed through infrastructure located in Germany and Finland, applicable European Union and local laws may also apply, including the EU Copyright Directive (Directive (EU) 2019/790) and relevant national copyright regulations.

11Modifications

We reserve the right to modify this Copyright Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of SoylaNet following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
